Leon Tyler

Leon has a half-century of experience working with corporations and small businesses across a wide range of industries and business functions. He has managed hospitality, retail, recreational boating, marketing research and consulting businesses. He has developed and taught marketing courses at the university level and developed and presented workshops and webinars focused on business planning, marketing communications, employee engagement and business growth. He has mentored more than 150 persons interested in starting and growing business and nonprofit organizations. As a facilitator he has moderated focus groups and led business meetings and workshops with audiences including Fortune 1,000 CEO’s, Marketing VPs, product managers and small business owners.

Leon has been involved in the creation and introduction of numerous consumer and business-to-business products during his work as a consultant and marketing researcher. His clients included General Mills, 3M, Porsche NA, Toro, Michael Foods, Continental Bank, First Chicago, Hormel, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, Harley Davidson, Crystal Farms, TriMark Corporation, Fallon, Carmicheal Lynch and numerous smaller organizations developing product and service offerings.

As a consultant/marketing researcher, Leon contributed to increasing penetration and purchase frequency within current markets, the identification of new market opportunities and the entrance into new markets for numerous consumer and business-to-business product and service marketers.
