Small business roundtables. These will be free, online, live 60-minute discussions about timely topics effecting the small businesses and entrepreneurs in our community (in other words - you!). We’re creating the roundtables to provide insights and dialogue with experienced business people and experts about the problems and opportunities they are currently facing.  These discussions will be participant centered and facilitated by 2 MINNEAPOLIS BUSINESS MENTORS advisors.

There are some ground rules and expectations for participating in our roundtables. A typical meeting will consist of these elements:

  • INTRODUCTIONS: Participants introduce themselves to the group, say a few things about their business, and introduce a topic or a question for the group.

  • DISCUSSION: A free, open exchange of ideas and solutions among the group.

  • EXAMPLE TOPICS: Marketing. Sales strategies. Social media. Technology. Operations. Managing for profitability. Adapting during and post COVID. Hiring, rehiring and retaining employees. Leadership and management issues. The topics are up to you.

  • FACILITATED: Experienced facilitators from MBMENTORS will ensure a trusting, open and confidential environment.  They will help keep the group focused on issues, equal participation and meaningful discussion.

To ensure a quality group experience for all participants, participants need to be prepared to:

  • Participate with Zoom mic and video ON.

  • Share and support the exchange of ideas, challenges and solutions with your fellow business owners and entrepreneurs.
