Official Rules and Legal Disclaimers

All contestants must meet the Criteria stated above and be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.  One entry per applicant, including related entities.  Employees, agents, directors, and officers of Minneapolis Business Mentors or Amplio, and their immediate families (including non-related members of the same household), are not eligible for entry, either individually, on behalf of a third party.  All applicable laws and regulations apply.  No purchase is necessary and making a purchase will not increase an applicant’s chances of winning.  Contestants must have their business registered in the State of Minnesota.

A completed application must be received by Minneapolis Business Mentors on or before 5:00 p.m., on October 15, 2021.  Failure to submit an application on time disqualifies the applicant from winning.  Failure to make a formal presentation consistent with the above rules disqualifies the applicant from winning.

All applications and presentations must be made in conformance with the above stated requirements.  Non-conforming applications and presentations will be rejected and disqualified from winning.  Any applicant using fraudulent means to participate and/or win the contest will be disqualified. Any attempt by an entrant to undermine the legitimate operation of this award may be a violation of civil and criminal laws.

The odds of winning will vary depending upon the number of qualified applicants.  The winning applicants will be notified by electronic mail within ten days after the presentation.   Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and all unspecified expenses or fees associated with prize acceptance, receipt, and use.  Prizes may not be substituted or transferred by any contest winner and a winner may not receive cash redemption equal to the value of the prize in lieu of the prize.

By entering a contest and, if applicable, receipt of any prize, each applicant and, as applicable, winner agrees to release and hold harmless Minneapolis Business Mentors and Application, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in a contest or any contest-related activity, or from the receipt or use or misuse of any prize.

Application and/or acceptance of a prize constitutes the applicant’s consent to Minneapolis Business Mentors’ and Amplio’s use of applicant’s name, likeness, voice, opinions, hometown, and state of residence and other indicia of persona for a contest, trade, or advertising purposes in any media without geographic or time limitation, and without additional payment or consideration.

Use of Collected Data

Minneapolis Business Mentors will collect personal data about applicants for purposes of administering this award contest.  By entering into a contest, entrants agree to the collection and usage of their personal information.  Minneapolis Business Mentors does not, and will not, disclose entrants’ personal information to non-affiliated third-parties.
