For the last twenty-seven years, Gary has worked in business development roles for U.S. and international companies seeking to enter new geographic markets. Fresh out of the University of Minnesota in 2005, he began his career selling capital equipment in the Latin American market. Eight industries later, he finds himself leading the efforts of a German fireplace manufacturer entering the United States market. In each role, Gary has been responsible for building his company's market presence through classic two-step distribution.
Over the course of his career, Gary has utilized his foreign language capabilities, channel partner recruitment skills, commitment to relationship-building, natural sales acumen and cultural awareness to conduct commerce in forty-four countries across the world. The industries that Gary has operated in are as follows: photographic capital equipment, intelligent transportation systems, commercial playground equipment, product protection componentry, packaging, coffee, specialty foods and residential fireplaces.
In 2019, Gary founded Nisoui Business Development LLC, a consultancy focused on new market qualification services for companies seeking to enter new markets. Within Minnesota Business Mentors, Gary will lend his experience to help companies considering the entry into foreign markets or U.S. markets that require proper qualification before making the move.
