In February of 2000, Chuck Bond formed COKeM International, growing the company from $16 million the first year to its current status as the most prosperous value video game distributor in the country, with sales approaching $750 million, and now a burgeoning third party logistics provider. Chuck acted as sole Owner and CEO until late 2020.
Prior to COKeM, Mr. Bond served as the President of GT Interactive’s Value Division, where he was instrumental in the development and marketing of Deer Hunter, the infamous game that launched the hunting game PC genre. GT Interactive (Infogrames/Atari) bought Mr. Bond’s first company, Slash Corporation, a high-velocity distribution company. At Slash, Mr. Bond invented the concept of licensing software back catalog titles, manufacturing more than five million units, and developing a patented bundling concept.
Prior to entering the gaming and computer software industry, Mr. Bond served as VP of Marketing at Lieberman Enterprises, Controller at Navarre Corporation, where he established the Computer Software Division, and in senior accounting positions at Pillsbury Company.
Mr. Bond is a successful entrepreneur who also has a stake in a number of other ventures.
